This evening we were very fortunate to have Alexandra Fire Brigade attend our training night with their 3.4C tanker, in preparation for the pending arrival of the replacement for Tanker 1.
Members were made familiar with the general stowage on the vehicle and how to operate the pump. Each member was taken through the process for boosting from the street main and changing-over from the vehicle's water tank to the reticulated water supply.
The opportunity was also taken to investigate how the larger appliance would be located in the station along with our existing Tanker 2.
