The Officers and members of Buxton Fire Brigade wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and hope you have an excellent day. It is a pleasure to help protect a community like Buxton and it's environs.
We live in a beautiful area and have a great mix of people in and around the township. Enjoy time with friends and family but stay safe and remain vigilant to the risk of fire and other emergencies. We wish everyone, of all religions and cultural backgrounds, all the best at this time of year and hope you have a great 2025.
With a statewide Total Fire Ban declared for tomorrow, due to forecast strong winds and temperatures in the 40's, please take care and prepare your bushfire plans.
Remember, as a fully volunteer service, we can't do what we do without your help. Despite recruiting a number of new operational members recently, we are still in need of more firefighters; especially men and women available during weekdays. So please consider getting involved. You don't need to be a full-time resident and recreational property owners can and do contribute to our brigade.
