This weekend we have a number of members from District 12 brigades being trained on how to wear and operate compressed air breathing apparatus in an external environment. This is the entry level training for CFA members using Breathing Apparatus.
Most members are drawn from brigades that don't have CABA allocated to them but are available to assist neighbouring brigades during Breathing Apparatus operations.
The students are from Alexandra, Acheron, Yarck, Thornton, Kinglake, and Narbethong with instructors from Eildon and Buxton.
