With the CABA Course running at the fire station and catering for the Clearance Sale at Fernhaven Farm, it was a busy weekend for our small team of volunteers.
Donna and Jenny provided morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea for the nine people involved in the CABA Course on both yesterday and today. The seven students and two trainers definitely didn't go hungry either day.
With something like 300 people attending the Clearance Sale, it was a busy time also for Wayne, Donna, Phil, Anne, Rachael, Graham and others who provided hot food and cold drinks to the masses. It was our pleasure to support the Briggs family today; Wayne was a valued Life Member of our brigade and we were very saddened with his passing. We are grateful to Embling Rural for the opportunity to engage with the community and raise some funds.
Thanks to everyone who helped get ready for yesterday and today, and with being the feet-on-the-ground both days.
