The LEAPing into Resilience Project aims to build the resilience of local communities to the impacts of emergencies through the development of a Local Emergency Action Plan (LEAP). This project is a joint initiative between Murrindindi, Mansfield and Strathbogie Shire Councils. Buxton Fire Brigade has been actively involved with the project since it kicked off in the Marysville & Triangle phase.
Along with Marysville SES, Marysville CFA, and Narbethong CFA, we have participated in a number of consultation sessions as well as community workshops to help inform the Triangle LEAP.
